ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Conducts timely and accurate quality audits to support quality integrity across the site.
  • Assists in executing customer quality requirements and identifies internal issues for resolution before shipping.
  • Participates in trial tests and supports related documentation.
  • Supports focus on improved quality levels by helping implement process improvements and reinforcing Team Member work efficiencies.
  • Provides on-the-floor coaching and refresher training to Team Members on quality routines, as directed by the Quality Control Manager.
  • Performs quality routines as outlined in the site process matrix and SOPs, and reports compliance gaps.
  • Communicates and applies SHARP (Ship, Handle and Receive Properly) process updates to Team Members and helps enforce them on the floor.
  • Supports the Quality Control Manager in delivering SHARP yearly certification.
  • Helps ensure Team Members have access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned duties, and that tools (including the SHARP Process Manual) are routinely updated.
  • Shares quality and Best Practice information with peers at other regional sites as directed.
  • Tracks performance variances against job standards and escalates root cause findings and recommended corrective actions to the Quality Control Manager.
  • Assists in the collection and reporting of performance measurements consistent with the customer.
  • Participates in completion of Workshop Action Plans, projects and best practice sharing/implementation.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed by Holman.
  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.

  • Attendance - Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time. Ability and willingness to work the voluntary/mandatory overtime that is required during the busy season. Ability to work all shifts – days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Experience: One (1) to two (2) years related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; prior quality, audit, or inspection experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate computer or tablet skills.

Certificates & Licenses: None required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is performed in both office and warehouse environments, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and material-handling equipment.
  • Must be able to walk warehouse floors for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
