What You’ll Do
In this mission-driven role, you will:
- Provide countywide oversight and guidance to Adult Foster Care and/or CLS programs.
- Mentor Program Managers and frontline teams to bring Person‑Centered Planning from philosophy into practice.
- Build a culture of collaboration, compassion, and continuous learning.
- Develop solutions and processes that make work easier, more efficient, and more impactful.
- Apply Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to strengthen services and elevate the people we support.
- Partner with the leadership team to imagine—and create—a brighter, more inclusive future.
- You won’t just supervise programs, you will elevate them.

What You Bring
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Successful completion of all background and health-related clearances
- A genuine passion for helping others thrive

Our assistance directly addresses the challenges SHS users face, including: Assessment and diagnostic services Family preservation Foster care and adoption Independent and assisted living programs Juvenile treatment and detention Short and long-term residential programs Small group living and outpatient mental health treatment Substance abuse prevention and treatment services Workforce development Each day, more than 1,450 children, teens and adults who deal with mental, physical, emotional and/or behavioral challenges find help in a Spectrum program.
