As a Social Worker at Spectrum, you will provide therapeutic and case management services for youth facing emotional and developmental challenges while advocating for their well-being and stability.

Provide therapeutic and case management services for youth (up to age 16) in an open residential juvenile justice program. Use trauma‑informed, evidence‑based approaches (CBT and related interventions) to assess, stabilize, and support youth, advocate for their needs, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care while completing required clearances.

The Juvenile Development Specialist will mentor youth aged 12-20 in a secure treatment setting, fostering respectful relationships, supporting individual treatment goals, and ensuring safety while encouraging personal growth.

Provide case management and person-centered planning for children with developmental disabilities. Link and coordinate services, advocate for families, monitor outcomes, document progress, and support culturally competent, recovery-based practices while working in family-convenient environments.

Provide in-home and community support for children with developmental disabilities by coordinating services, developing person-centered plans, advocating for families, monitoring outcomes, and promoting culturally competent, recovery-based practices. Link families to resources, document progress, and adjust plans as needed.

Provide high-level administrative and operational leadership supporting the Executive Director and leadership team. Oversee admissions, onboarding, training, compliance, documentation, program reporting, continuous improvement, and supervision of administrative staff. Partner with clinical and support teams to maintain residential care quality, lead investigations and corrective actions, and support strategic goals and board updates.

Provide six months of structured aftercare for justice-involved youth, manage a 15–20 caseload, supervise youth workers, deliver therapeutic and crisis support, coordinate community services and schools, prepare social history and assessment reports, document outcomes, and ensure compliance with MDHHS standards to support community reintegration.

Design and lead recreational programming for youth in a secure residential treatment setting. Create safe, structured activities that support treatment goals, adapt programming to youth needs, supervise and engage youth, and collaborate with care teams.

Supervise Juvenile Development Specialists, lead youth assessment groups, manage a caseload of 15–20 youth, complete social histories and assessment reports, coordinate screenings and compliance checks, and provide strength-based support and guidance to youth and families.

The Adoption Specialist assists abused and neglected children in finding permanent homes, partnering with potential adoptive parents and providing training and support.

The Program Director oversees operations at an open-residential youth facility, ensuring compliance, staff management, youth safety, and collaboration with external stakeholders.
