We are seeking an Experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team and ensure our products consistently meet rigorous safety and quality standards. This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals interested in starting a career in food quality assurance with plenty of room for growth and development. This is an ACTIVE position with 100% of time being on the plant floor (standing, walking, climbing stairs).  
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth quality checks on products, packaging, and equipment to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards (HACCP, USDA).
  • Perform routine product testing, including but not limited to temperature, weight, pH, and other quality measures, accurately documenting results.
  • Support quality audits, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions to address any deviations or non-compliance issues.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and suggest changes to enhance product quality and consistency.
  • Maintain and update quality assurance records and logs, ensuring documentation aligns with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Provide guidance to team members and participate in training on quality standards and procedures.

Key Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or food production environment preferred.
  • Ability to work 100% on the plant floor, routinely lifting 30 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and quality control methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
