Optimiza is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Tester to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards through meticulous testing processes. You will identify defects, assess functionality, and ultimately help deliver robust and reliable software solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Conduct manual testing, including regression, functional, and acceptance testing across various platforms.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand requirements and clarify testing criteria.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear communication of issues to stakeholders.
- Participate in test reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the testing progress, providing regular updates to the QA team and management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing tools to enhance the quality assurance process.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience in manual testing techniques across web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Ability to write clear and concise test documentation and reports.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
