Position Summary
AgriSompo North America provides renowned, cutting-edge analytics to address risk and the risk exposures of each of its product lines. The quality control reviewer plays a key role in delivering best in class customer service to its customers. This job is responsible for working reviews and verifying files to fulfill the Compliance requirements of the SRA. Quality Control Reviewers are expected to manage the field compliance required pieces of MPCI and coordinate with the Regional Quality Control Supervisor. The incumbent will primarily work with a high level of autonomy, limited supervision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Perform reviews pursuant to the requirements of the SRA including but not limited to Appendix IV reviews.
- Responsible for working with agents and underwriters on any errors and corrections.
- Provide oral and written communication to agents, insured’s, and adjusters regarding reviews.
- Responsible for working closely with ASNA employees and contractors on matters related to quality control reviews.
- Communicates review and case determinations, including proposed corrective actions to the Regional Quality Control Supervisor.
- Responsible for staying abreast of understanding, interpreting, and communicating RMA and SRA rules/regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
Education
Required – High School/GED or equivalent experience.
Preferred - Associate’s Degree in Agriculture or similar field.
Experience
Preferred – a minimum of 2 years’ MPCI crop adjusting, or related crop insurance experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple assignments and coordinate several projects with changing priorities.
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both autonomously and effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgment.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
Environmental Conditions
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. When out in the field - Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. When working in fields the ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and ascend or descend ladders.
Travel, up to 75% required during claim season (mostly regional travel). (Normal 50%) Travel distance 50 to 300 miles common, rare travel distances over 400 miles.
Salary Range: $56,000.00-70,00.00 Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
