About the opportunity
- Manage all the manufacturing plant quality control activities.
- Spend significant time on the production floor working with production supervisors and Manufacturing engineer to resolve quality inconsistency issues and reduce rejects.
- Conduct root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.).
- Ensure the implementation of corrective and containment actions
- Ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure the appropriate execution of all products quality inspections (Incoming, In-process, Final) per inspection plan.
- Supervise 3 quality control team members provide guidance and feedback.
- Monitor manufacturing audits and quality procedures execution to identify deviations.
- Develop inspection plans and quality documentation for new products.
- Support the creation of Quality control documents as forms, procedures, and supplier quality requirements.
- Assist with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Support the resolution of customer complaints.
- Contact Suppliers to share products nonconformities or potential improvements. Follow-up on their corrective actions.
- Ensure calibration requirements are maintained for inspection and test equipment.
- Cooperate with management to identify improvement opportunities and reduce non-quality costs.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a quality control Manager.
- Great communication and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Very familiar with Quality control procedures and root cause analysis.
- Customer focus and accountable.
- Meticulous and responsible
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience with ISO 9001-2015 is an advantage.
