• Must possess an accute attention to detail.

Job Summary

Conducts internal quality controls to ensure established quality procedures and norms are followed. Ensures routine quality analysis and test or inspections of an over, short, and damage program are standardized.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
• Monitors and records inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.
• Prepares standard quality control analysis and recommends necessary quality procedure changes.
• Records and analyzes customer claims.
• Supports the development of policies, procedures, and methods to check product, material, components, or operational quality.
• Conducts internal quality controls concerning particular areas or company products to insure they fulfill given quality standards.
• Assists in preparing reports on rejected or defective products.

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
  • None.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • No travel required.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
