This Position reports to:
Continuous Improvement ManagerWe are looking for an experienced and technically proficient In this role you will support the deployment of the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy for Finance & Accounting Operations and strengthen ABB’s Service & Performance (S&P) agenda for 2026 by bringing strong CI expertise, a transformation mindset, ERP-enabled process optimization (S/4HANA preferred), and finance domain fluency. You will coach teams, lead end-to-end CI initiatives, and ensure measurable, sustainable improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and stakeholder experience.

This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Global Service & Performance division in Bangalore, India.
Strong experience in CI / Lean / Operational Excellence roles with in-depth knowledge of CI methodologies and structured problem solving.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required (or higher). Agile and/or Project Management certification is an advantage.
Proven capability to manage CI initiatives end-to-end, including benefits sizing, delivery execution, and sustainment.
Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable CI outcomes (quality/right-first-time, cycle time, productivity, cost) with sustained benefits.
Experience running CI governance and managing an improvement pipeline (cadence, prioritization inputs, RAID, milestone tracking, benefits reporting).
Working understanding of finance process controls and compliance considerations (auditability, approvals/workflows, segregation of duties impacts).
Finance domain fluency in at least one tower: P2P or O2C or R2R (cross-tower understanding is an advantage).
Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data and operational KPIs to drive improvements (process mining/analytics exposure is an advantage).
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders, managers, and subject matter experts.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is an advantage.
SAP working knowledge preferred; S/4HANA knowledge/exposure strongly preferred.
6–8 years of relevant experience; 10 years overall work experience preferred.
Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills; able to lead workshops and drive decisioning across cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated discipline in CI governance and execution (cadence, RAID, milestone tracking, benefits reporting).
Data-driven approach to improvement using operational KPIs; advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel initiatives; strong ownership and execution rigor.
