Key Responsibilities
Responsible for executing tactical and long-term QA project work such as test planning, test cycles, metrics, and test execution.
Define the entrance and exit requirements for all testing phases.
Development/Unit, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Performance/Load Testing, and Post-Production Testing.
Integrate automated test platforms into the development, build, and release workflows.
Support coaching and leadership in QA best practices, standards, and methodologies to enable continuous improvement of our engineering capabilities.
Develop and maintain a library of test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, test harness scripts, and automated management.
Report on the status of testing development, quality, and system performance to management.
Key Attributes & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years’ experience designing automated software testing for web, desktop, and mobile platforms and 2-5 years of manual testing experience.
English, Arabic (an Advantage)
Experience in providing technical guidance.
Demonstrated a track record working in geographically dispersed teams.
Expertise in Data Testing, ETL and SQL.
Expertise in industry-leading test and performance measurement tools such as Load Runner, and robotic process automation (RPA) platforms such as UiPath.
Demonstrated ability to report progress using KPI metrics and risk measurements.
Experience of working in QA software teams in a distributed development environment.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, product owners, operations, and senior leadership to provide quality measurements and detailed risk analysis.
Experience in REST service interaction and performance/load testing.
Experience with Agile software development.
