Crescent Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that Production / Operational processes meet / comply with applicable Safety, Quality, Regulatory & Customer standards.

The Quality Supervisor will provide day-to-day oversight and direction of QA activities to ensure adherence to standards and execution against production requirements. The Quality Supervisor is responsible for measuring, monitoring and reporting Quality KPIs and trends while supporting investigations for outages and nonconformances and driving necessary corrective / preventative actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

QualificationsEducation & Experience:
  • Minimum two years of Quality experience (related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience
  • HACCP Certification
  • Experience leading teams or projects strongly desired
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Process Excellence experience
  • Regulatory knowledge and application for product categories of food, cosmetic, and OTC Drug
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafety
  1. Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It
  2. Ensure Safe and well-maintained Work Environment and conditions throughout all work spaces, facility and surrounding areas.
  3. Engage all staff and employees in cultivating and promoting a Safety-First
Quality
  1. Ensure Quality procedures and work instructions are executed consistently on the floor and escalate gaps as identified
  2. Support all applicable internal & external (third party, customer and Regulatory) Quality audits and visits.
  3. Measure, monitor and report Quality KPIs (Process Accuracy).
  4. Participate as an active member of the Project Start Up Team to ensure Quality considerations and Design Quality have been implemented prior to new project start.
  5. Support and contribute to investigations, including data gathering, documentation, and implementation of corrective actions as assigned.
  6. Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities driving Quality CI
  7. Perform batch record review and batch release as
  8. Participate in CAPA investigations resulting from Customer Complaints
Productivity
  1. Support Cross Functional Teams to and prioritize Quality staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.
  2. Champion the Crescent Culture of Doing it Right, Doing it Safe and Doing it Well and abide by all written and understood policies and procedures.
  3. Support all Continuous Improvement (CI)
  4. All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to the identification and training of an individual capable of successfully completing all stated Key Responsibilities as appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression planning and coverage during times of absence.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
  • Fast paced environment, requiring Quality Supervisor to adapt to constant changes in schedules, volumes, staffing and shift requirements.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25

Pay Range
$60,000$70,000 USD
