Core Values: Winners’ Mindset | Speed with Purpose | Passion for Thoughtful Innovation | Genuineness | No Ego, Full Ownership

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Supervisor based in Xingan, Jiangxi, to safeguard the quality of our consumer goods across the travel, health, and fitness categories before they ship to our DTC e-commerce customers. The primary focus is the quality of packaging and bundling — ensuring every kit, master carton, and unit reaches the end customer in perfect condition — with secondary responsibility for light product-level quality checks that often surface during the packing process. The successful candidate will set inspection standards, oversee inspection activities (in-house and via third-party agencies), authorise pre-shipment release, and drive corrective action with suppliers and packing partners. The role reports to the Manager, Supply Chain (China) and works closely with the R&D, sourcing, and offsite operations teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Inspect incoming packaging materials (cartons, polybags, mailers, inserts, foam, blister packs, hang tags, manuals, warranty cards) against approved specifications and dielines, ensuring compliance before use.
  • Conduct in-line and final QC checks on bundling and kitting operations, verifying correct components, quantities, accessories, and inserts, along with master carton quality (count, weight, dimensions, sealing, drop-test compliance, labeling).
  • Validate barcode, SKU, batch code, country-of-origin, and marketplace-specific labels for accuracy and scannability, including DTC and Amazon FBA requirements (SIOC, frustration-free packaging, shipping integrity, and unboxing standards).
  • Coordinate packaging validation tests (drop, compression, transit), maintain a sample retention library, and approve new packaging formats prior to mass production.
  • Perform product-level quality checks during packing (visual, finish, accessories, basic functionality), quarantine non-conforming items, and coordinate rework or replacement with suppliers while tracking defect trends.
  • Apply AQL sampling standards (e.g., ISO 2859) to drive inspection decisions, and develop/update inspection criteria, checklists, and quality manuals per SKU and bundle configuration.
  • Own pre-shipment QA sign-off, issuing detailed inspection reports with photos, defect logs, and pass/fail recommendations, and managing rework cycles and re-inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement and supplier quality by conducting root cause analysis, issuing CAPAs, tracking performance metrics, maintaining QA documentation/reporting, and supervising/training QC inspectors (including 3rd-party teams).

Who You Are:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Packaging, or a related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in consumer goods manufacturing, including supervisory responsibility and team oversight.
  • Strong expertise in packaging materials, bundling/kitting operations, and master carton standards.
  • Experience inspecting products for DTC e-commerce channels, with Amazon FBA prep requirements (SIOC, labeling, compliance) considered a strong advantage.
  • Solid working knowledge of AQL sampling (ISO 2859) and packaging test methods such as drop, compression, and vibration testing.
  • Preferred exposure to travel goods, health & wellness, or fitness product categories, with familiarity in consumer compliance standards (CE, RoHS, Prop 65, CPSIA).
  • Fluent Mandarin Chinese (essential) and working-level English, with the ability to read technical drawings, packaging dielines, and product specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (inspection logs, AQL calculations, defect trending) with strong attention to detail, documentation/reporting discipline, decision-making confidence, and effective stakeholder communication.

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams across fast-growing global brands.
