The primary role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is to perform system integration tests for Zain Cash products and internal IT projects, ensuring that they are free from bugs and problems. The role includes verifying product compliance with requirements before launch, identifying optimal solutions that meet company demands, and aligning with available team resources.
Responsibilities- Plan, integrate, script, and lead the execution of all required testing for software.
- Write and maintain test strategies, plans, environments, and cases, ensuring a high-quality bar for Zain Cash Payment Services products.
- Design and write test automation scripts (web, mobile, and APIs).
- Ensure systems are free of bugs, errors, or problems.
- Generate bug reports, readable test reports, and communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve QA practices and maintain internal documentation for testing processes and tools.
- Monitor and analyze test automation results; collate and provide test metrics and reports.
- Follow up on support cases escalated from internal teams and collaborate to prioritize product improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 3–5 years of experience in related fields.
- Experience in test automation development for mobile applications, preferably in the IT or FinTech sector.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, Appium, Android, Fitness, SDK, Xcode, Cucumber, JMeter, and LoadRunner, preferably in a Java environment.
- proficiency in manual testing (web, mobile, API, and requirements).
