Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team to support our customer, working on-site daily at the customer facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through systematic testing processes, defect identification, and the implementation of best practices in software quality. The candidate will support a security team to test various images and keep track of vulnerabilities found and work through resolution.
About the Role
Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.

- Working with the team to keep track of Images developed and tested
- Provide expertise in documenting and guiding the teams to get to an effective Gold Image for Linux and Windows OS
- Conduct daily meetings with Security teams to keep the task of building the Image on track and provide guidance
Requirements
- 8 – 12 years of experience testing and documenting results
Work environment
- This work is normally done onsite in the customer facility in College Park, MD
Physical demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Frequent use of a keyboard, laptop and mouse
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, collaborating with team members
Required education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8 years of applicable experience
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of FISMA requirements for Systems security desired
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance

The base salary range for this position is: $106,957.00 - $146,413.44
