As a Quality Assurance Specialist within PNC’s Enterprise Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX. or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
Job Overview:
• Experience with UI and Database Testing.
• Experience with UI automation and Rest Assured API automation using Java programming language.
• Experience with automation technologies such as, Jenkins and Gradle, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate.
• Preferably has an experience working in a financial institution.
• Preferably working with technologies such as Kafka, Soap UI, Toad, Postman, Xray.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to update and manage Bitbucket repositories.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Designing and developing test cases.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Analytical and logical thinking.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Job Description

• Participates in the quality assurance process; follows procedures to ensure that all software products and components meet company standards and client requirements.
• Performs code inspections, walk-throughs, design, and test-readiness reviews.
• Reviews software and project documentation for completeness and adherence to standards.
• Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management. Plans, executes, and summarizes reliability and validation test cases; interfaces with developers on test results.
• Assists in audits and reviews. Writes and executes test plans and cases for testing of software.
