Quality Assurance Officer

Location:  Basingstoke  

Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience

Full time, Fixed term contract, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm.

We provide Housing Management services right across the UK. We work in partnership with Central and Local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Basingstoke, supporting both the RLAP and CAS contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-focused professional who is passionate about performance improvement, data quality, and delivering excellent service outcomes.

In this role, you will manage the provision of performance data and information through the collation, validation and interpretation of data, supporting both client and Mears performance measures and service improvement initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide valuable business intelligence, ensure contractual KPI achievement, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

You will be responsible for supporting performance management and quality assurance activities across the contracts, ensuring accurate reporting, robust data management, and the delivery of business intelligence that supports operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the development and presentation of performance reports and benchmarking activities, ensuring robust data quality arrangements
  • Analysing data and identifying opportunities to increase productivity, reduce costs and add value to service delivery
  • Providing business intelligence and data analysis to support management decision making and service improvement
  • Ensuring the accurate collection, analysis and reporting of performance data in conjunction with the management team
  • Adhering to company and client reporting protocols within required timescales
  • Supporting the achievement of contractual KPI targets and performance standards
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, service users and local communities
  • Managing client expectations and attending meetings where required
  • Supporting business development activities and assisting with bid preparation

Role Criteria:

  • Demonstrable good standard of education with a high level of literacy and numeracy
  • Experience of analysing financial and statistical data
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and statistical information
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify, retrieve and interpret information from a variety of sources
  • Experience producing reports for multiple audiences
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines and targets
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and consistently deliver results
