The Quality Assurance Department supports CAMBA’s supportive housing portfolio by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting high-quality service delivery across all housing programs. The department is responsible for monitoring program performance, conducting audits, identifying risks, and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts.

Position: Quality Assurance Manager

Reports To: Quality Assurance Director 

Location: 329 Clarkson Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11226
 

What The Quality Assurance Manager Does:

  • Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality. 

  • Comply with all Federal, State, City, and CAMBA policies. 

  • Conduct audits of client files including assessments, ILPs, progress notes, and incident reports. 

  • Review documentation to ensure compliance with required timelines and standards. 

  • Identify documentation deficiencies and compliance issues. 

  • Track and monitor corrective action items and follow-up activities. 

  • Maintain QA tracking logs and audit tools. 

  • Assist in preparing programs for audits and monitoring visits. 

  • Provide feedback to program staff and leadership regarding audit findings. 

  • Support QA Manager in implementing quality improvement initiatives. 

  • Analyze audit results to identify trends across sites and programs. 

  • Utilize databases such as AWARDS, HMIS, or other systems to review and verify data. 

  • Participate in meetings as requested. 

  • Tasks may be modified, expanded and/or assigned over time. 

What are the Qualifications for the Position: 

Education, Licenses and/or Certifications Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A., B.S.W.) 

Minimum Experiences and Skills Required:  

  • At least 1 year of Quality Assurance Experience 

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.  

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.  

  • Knowledge of supportive housing services operations 

Pre and/or Post Employment Requirements: 

  • As a Mandated Reporter, you must immediately report suspected incidents/cases abuse and neglect to the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR) Hotline at 1-855-373-2122 and complete a CAMBA Incident Report 

  • Obtain “Criminal History Checks” (CHC) fingerprinting through the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice System) and Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance.  

Compensation: $50,000 - $57,000 annually
When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.

Status: Full-time (35 hours per week)
