As a Quality Assurance Lead within PNC's Retail Technology Shop and Buy organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX, Strongsville, OH or Phoenix, AZ

Must have:
• Define, develop, implement, and maintain scalable, reusable Test automation strategies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks (QFaas and Karate) for banking applications, ensuring high test coverage and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the team providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with developers, QEs and POs to understand the requirements and define test scenarios.
• Create regular reports and Dashboards to track metrics - automation coverage, defects, test executions, and improvements using test management tools like JIRA, X-Ray, and Confluence for releases.
• Participate in code reviews, Sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies.
• Oversee tests automated, test executions and ensure tests are performed correctly.
• Identify and address potential quality issues early in the Development process.
• Promote best practices in Agile, DevOps and test-driven development (BDD/TDD) environments.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git, Bitbucket.
• Understanding of SQL, MySQL, MongoDB for validating test data.
• Automate functional, regression, API and performance testing using tools such as Selenium, TestNG
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD Jenkins pipelines for continuous validation.
• Conduct API testing for banking services using Postman, RestAssured or SoapUI.
• Create API requests, collections and environments in Postman to perform validations and Assertions on API responses.
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge on JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge on IBM IGNITE Quality Platform tool

Job Description

  • Operating in a global delivery model, brings strategic direction to testing and acts as the subject matter expert for both the quality discipline and a line of business domain(s).
  • Leads the review of testing artifacts throughout the product life-cycle to ensure appropriate sign off and prioritization of testing work. Including coordinating test strategy, scripting and defect resolution.
  • Including ensuring early engagement with internal partners and proactive planning to ensure quality is a core area of focus early in the product lifecycle.
  • Take accountability for quality standards in the development, implementation and upkeep test scripts and opportunities for automation of testing products.
  • Developing meaningful management metrics that help to gauge project health. Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement in product release.
