QUALITY ASSURANCE INTERN
Babylonstoren is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join our team and report to the Quality Assurance Technologist.
Key responsibilities:
• Document control and record keeping
• Assisting with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Assisting with internal audits
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of PRPs and HACCP
• Driving hygiene services within the factories
• Assisting with food safety training
Requirements:
• Degree in Food Science or a related field
• Recent graduate or up to one year’s experience in food quality and manufacturing
• Knowledge of RTE, meat, olives, tea, water and/or nut products
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong planning, organisational and execution skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Commitment to complying with all safety rules and regulations• Must be able to climb stairs and move comfortably between processing areas.
