Who you are:
We are looking for Quality Assurance Engineer for our Business Unit Heat & Gas Systems (BU HGS) Qingdao Marine site. You are working in our Engineering & Supply organization, and you are part of Quality Assurance Team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will conduct root cause analysis to reduce customer claims rate ,Setup and manager Lesson learnt poor and promote quality improvement project. You will collaborate closely with the Sale company and Design Team to ensure consistent standards and alignment. You will report locally to the E&S Quality assurance team leader. You work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, including design, engineering, claim coordinator, SQE, Manufacturing quality team and sale company.
What you know:
Required Skills and Experience:
- Relevant technical education (e.g., B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical field)
- At least 7 years of experience in quality function, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting in muti-national company.
- Experience in managing customer or process claims, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Familiar with ISO standards and quality tools (e.g., QC 7 tools, 8D, FMEA, APQP), preferably familiar with 6 sigma.
- Proactive and analytical mindset with a focus on risk prevention.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Fluent in English, both oral and written

About the job:
- Responsible for customer complaint investigation. Receive customer complaints, lead internal functional team to handle claims according to 8D process to meet customer quality target.
- Responsible for the collection, summary and preparation of weekly /monthly /annual complaint report and monitor customer quality performance.
- Responsible for lesson learnt output and KPI statistic based on customer complaints data.
- Participate/conduct customer claims investigation in shipyard.
- Participate/conduct finished products and components audit.
- Facilitate the PRP for High complexity claims
- Support to promote and manage continuous improvement projects/activities in quality area, in alignment with Alfa Laval quality strategy
- Support line management in their (line management) quality accountability
