Overview

Join our agile team as a Quality Assurance Engineer, executing automated and manual tests for automotive software in both simulated and embedded environments. Collaborate closely with developers to maintain test setups, analyze issues, and verify software fixes.

Responsibilities

  • Own product quality assurance activities within the QA team.
  • Set up and maintain test environments for manual and automated tests.
  • Update embedded software on target platforms.
  • Develop test specifications from requirement documents.
  • Create and maintain Python automation test scripts.
  • Analyze test outcomes and conduct failure investigations.
  • Support bug analysis and verify issue resolutions.

 Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and agile software development projects.
  • Familiarity with Android platforms.
  • Proficient with code management tools (e.g., Git) and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Detail-oriented, transparent, and structured approach to work.
  • Effective prioritization with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Skilled in test management or defect tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Flexible, accountable, and results-driven.
  • Knowledge of speech applications or speech recognition testing, experience in Agile/SCRUM environments, and familiarity with quality process standards like ASPICE are advantageous.

 Education

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, or a related field.
