Overview
Join our agile team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, where you will drive product quality by developing and executing automated and manual tests for automotive software systems.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Take ownership of product quality as part of the QA team, collaborating across functions.
- Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks to support new features and increase efficiency.
- Analyze test results and failures using logs, system knowledge, and metrics.
- Develop innovative QA strategies and regularly report key quality indicators.
- Create test specifications from requirements and develop automated test scripts in Python.
- Perform failure analysis on automated and embedded system tests.
- Support complex bug analysis and verification within project teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software development processes and functional/non-functional testing.
- Hands-on experience with software development projects in agile environments, including Python programming skills.
- Experience with Android platforms.
- Familiarity with code management tools (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Structured and transparent approach to work with good prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Flexible mindset with strong ownership and commitment to results.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of speech applications or speech recognition testing.
- Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
- Familiarity with quality process standards such as ASPICE.
Education
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, or equivalent.
