Overview  

Join our agile team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, where you will drive product quality by developing and executing automated and manual tests for automotive software systems.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of product quality as part of the QA team, collaborating across functions.
  • Enhance and maintain test automation frameworks to support new features and increase efficiency.
  • Analyze test results and failures using logs, system knowledge, and metrics.
  • Develop innovative QA strategies and regularly report key quality indicators.
  • Create test specifications from requirements and develop automated test scripts in Python.
  • Perform failure analysis on automated and embedded system tests.
  • Support complex bug analysis and verification within project teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software development processes and functional/non-functional testing.
  • Hands-on experience with software development projects in agile environments, including Python programming skills.
  • Experience with Android platforms.
  • Familiarity with code management tools (e.g., Git) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Structured and transparent approach to work with good prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Flexible mindset with strong ownership and commitment to results.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of speech applications or speech recognition testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
  • Familiarity with quality process standards such as ASPICE.

Education

Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, or equivalent.
