Lead quality control for incoming materials and wafer-level testing processes to guarantee incoming material integrity and maximize semiconductor front-end yields. In this role, you will bridge the gap between supplier material excellence and backend assembly preparation by monitoring incoming quality and managing the technical quality controls of wafer testing (sorting, probing, and dicing preparation).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain product and process quality to ensure compliance with customer requirements and company standards.
- Investigate incoming quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance cases, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, inspection reports, control plans, and quality records.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits related to ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, and suppliers to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Possess at least bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronics engineering (preferred) or a related technical field.
- Required skill(s): 8D report writing.
- Knowledge in QC core tools, ISO 9001, IATF16949 Quality Management system, PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA and control plan is essential.
- 2–5+ years of experience in electronics assembly, semiconductor backend processing, or wafer-level probe testing.
- Self-motivated and self-discipline.
- Proficiency communication skills and able to work independently and as a team player as well as interact with people at all levels.
- Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with stakeholders.
