CMFG Life Insurance Company, dba TruStage, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer III. This is a hybrid position reporting to the Madison, WI headquarters and individuals are expected to work in the office several days a month.
The Quality Assurance Engineer III provides professional and technical leadership and support in the test planning, test design, and test execution of technology solutions. This individual will lead self and others through all phases of the testing life cycle on mid to large size efforts. Monitor every phase of the software development process to ensure quality, making sure that the software adheres to the established standards. The individual in this position will design, develop and execute all aspects of testing lifecycle to customers, team members and peers and will also support the implementation of approved testing plans and activities for System, System Integration and End-to-End testing. This individual will positively influence the project team regarding all aspects of quality assurance and testing. Must maintain an in-depth knowledge of business processes supported in assigned area and understand concepts of programming to enable better communication with the IT development team. Must be able to identify, set up, and manage data needed for testing while understanding the purpose of different environments along with their integrations, limitations, and impact on test planning. This position does not have any direct reports or supervisory duties.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least six years of progressive testing and quality assurance experience. As part of the six years of progressive experience required, the candidate must also have:
- 2 years’ experience working with the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) Solution for Life Insurance
- 4 years’ experience working with the Vertafore Distribution Management Platform – VUE Software
- 4 years’ experience working with Sapiens CoreSuite for Life & Annuties (ALIS) version 5
- 4 years’ experience working in the Preneed & Final Expense Life Insurance field (working with Policy Administration & Agent commissions)
- 2 years’ experience working with both in an Agile/Scrum and Waterfall development process
- 2 years’ experience working with SQL

Salary range: $97,490.00 - $131,700.00
