BlueCat Networks is looking for Quality Assurance Engineers in Serbia to build and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. The responsibilities include fully managing and expanding our automatic test suites written in Cypress.

 

Work includes designing, implementing, and debugging tests as well as supporting the development team on resolving issues discovered by the test cases. Our QA Engineers are an integral part of the software development team and essential in the overall product development process.

 

The ideal candidate will be conducting tests throughout the development and release process to ensure our software works as expected. Working with build tools and test automation tools should be well in your comfort zone. The main focus will be on building up and maintaining a suite of automated tests based on initial manual testing work performed by the candidate as well as other members of the wider QA team.

 

If you have an Engineering background and are interested in end-to-end functionality of software then this is the job for you.

 

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain automatic tests written in Cypress

• Work with DevOps to evaluate if tests are running successfully and in case of issues then highlight those with the development team

• Perform various testing tasks needed to ensure overall software quality before a release

 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience using Cypress

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how it can be used to increase software quality

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Github or other CI/CD tooling is a plus but not required

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes and best practices

• Experience in test documentation, test plans, scenarios and checklists

• Good analytical skills and attention to detail in order to detect corner cases

• Experience working with Jira and X-Ray, or equivalent, is a plus

• Fluent in written & spoken English

• Experience with Git, or another version control system

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience
