Hourly Pay Based on Experience

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point quality inspections on the interior & exterior of vehicles.
• Develop expert-level knowledge of vehicle quality standards while executing quality checks at a high level.
• Enter data into the CarCheck and CARLI systems.
• Make autonomous decisions on which vehicles will pass the quality check.
• Move vehicles that fail quality checks to and from reconditioning/rework areas.
• Create repair orders and build estimates for vehicles that do not pass the quality check.
• Partner with Technicians and Post-production team members to build repair estimates as needed.
• Operate company-owned vehicles on company property, but not on public roads.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently; most lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
• Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include but is not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective equipment.
• Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to move in and out of vehicles regularly.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends.
