Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Associate at LGC is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organization dedicated to excellence in manufacturing. In this role, you will be at the heart of ensuring our products meet world-class standards. Your meticulous attention to detail will play a meaningful role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our operations. You will be entrusted with Batch Record Review and Document Control processes, vital components of our daily operations within the Quality Assurance department.
QualificationsEssential Functions:
- Review of batch production records for completeness and compliance with cGMPs and LGC Biosearch policies and procedures.
- Review of analytical records and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with cGMPs and LGC Biosearch policies and procedures
- Performs QC data review for batch record in-process and final QC approval.
- Perform routine document control activities including creation and/or revision, processing, routing and review of all controlled documents.
- Assist in all dispositions as a result of the Material Review Board.
- Assist with Internal Quality audits of internal departments as necessary.
- Work with various departments to set up appropriate documentation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide guidance on Quality System and Quality Assurance procedures.
- Review deviations in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- AA, AS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or a similar scientific field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, 21 CFR 820, and other applicable regulations.
- Strong mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- 2+ years of experience in a diagnostics or medical device environment.
Additional Information
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $28.00 /Hourly
Maximum: $43.00 /Hourly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California -based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.
