We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Quality Analyst to join our dynamic Technology Service Delivery team. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and quality of work done by our Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Client Platform Engineers. You will need a strong understanding of data processes, analytics, and quality assurance methodologies to validate various data-related tasks and outputs in a legal services environment. This Role will require the candidate to be in UK hours (2PM IST to 11PM IST)
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Develop advanced Python scripts.
Conduct comprehensive quality assurance on data updates, inserts, and modifications by data analysts and engineers
Validate and QA complex SQL and Python scripts developed by the data team
Review and ensure the quality of data migrations, custom reports, and self-service reporting systems
Verify the accuracy and effectiveness of data visualization tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards
Conduct thorough QA on ad-hoc data requests, test scenarios, and data analysis in a production environment
Validate web form builds and electronic data collection templates, ensuring accurate mapping between form fields and database fields
Review and verify daily tickets submitted by business units for various data-related tasks
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with data quality standards, metadata management, and data lineage practices
Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to resolve quality issues and improve processes
Contribute to the establishment and implementation of process improvements
Document QA processes and maintain up-to-date quality assurance documentation
Provide feedback on data quality management principles, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions
Assist in validating data cleansing and manipulation processes to ensure data is in the correct format
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Proficiency/Strong knowledge Python and SQL
5+ years of experience in quality assurance in a data-intensive and legal services environment
Strong understanding of data processes, analytics, and database concepts
Experience with data validation tools and techniques
Familiarity with data visualization tools, especially Power BI
Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark and Databricks
Understanding of cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in validating ETL processes and data migrations
Ability to review and QA complex SQL queries and query optimization
Quality control processes for both data and web applications
Web form validation and database mapping comprehension

Familiarity with Agile methodologies
