We’re looking for a Quality Advisor who thrives on improving systems, influencing culture, and partnering with operational leaders to lift performance across the business. This role can be based at our Maitland, Cardiff or Brisbane locations.

📣 The Role

This is a hands-on quality role with real influence. You’ll partner closely with operational teams to strengthen compliance, enhance processes, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

From leading audits to coaching leaders and investigating non-conformances, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our Integrated Management System (IMS) remains effective and aligned with certification requirements. 

⚙️ What You’ll Do
  • Lead internal audit programs and support external certification audits
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance
  • Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Support the ongoing implementation and governance of IMS
  • Partner with supervisors and leaders to strengthen quality culture
  • Develop and coordinate quality compliance plans and training initiatives 
  • Ensure documentation and processes align with ISO standards
  • Provide practical, value-adding advice to operational teams

You’re pragmatic, detail-oriented, and confident influencing stakeholders at all levels. You don’t just identify problems, you solve them.

You bring:

  • Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical environments
  • Strong working knowledge of quality systems and certification standards
  • The confidence to engage leaders and challenge the status quo
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
📝 Qualifications & Experience
  • Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 highly regarded)
  • Trade or engineering qualification strongly preferred (electrical is advantageous)
  • Experience implementing quality or continuous improvement systems 
  • Highly desirable: experience in Ex certification (IECEx 60079.19 and AS/NZS 3800) and strong understanding of AC/DC electric motors.

Skills Required

  • Experience in manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical environments
