Job Description
Job Summary:
The Product Strategy Group within ETFs & Indexed Strategies is committed to providing superior client support while driving our product line’s strategic agenda for growth. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (ticker: QQQ), serving as a subject matter expert, developing relevant product and market insights and promoting QQQ to both internal and external partners. The Strategist will work cross-functionally with members of the core and factor ETF product team, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, Sales and Marketing to position and support flows into QQQ. The Strategist will also help promote QQQ at industry events and across social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Monitor macro market conditions and equity trends to formulate views and translate them into actionable insights to better position QQQ.
- Help build and reinforce Invesco ETFs QQQ brand by participating in marketing events, industry conferences, social media, webcasts, QQQ sponsored events, etc.
- Work with more senior team members to develop and manage insights on QQQ through:
- Product-specific communication to the sales force
- Product-specific competitive analysis
- Periodic market and product performance commentaries
- White papers
- Support for Product Marketing and RFP activities
- Partner with sales and marketing to promote QQQ, globally.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 5+ years working in the asset management industry, with demonstrated product management, research and/or business development experience.
- Experience developing product content/thought leadership
- ETF product familiarity and industry experience preferred
- Strong written communication and oral presentation skills. Experienced presenting at corporate, client, and industry functions in front of large audiences
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with all departments and organizational levels
- Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
- Maintain open minded, flexible, and collaborative approach
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally
Formal Education:
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related discipline required
- MBA advantageous
License/Registration/Certification:
- CFA designation advantageous
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 63
The salary range for this position in New York City is $135,000 - $160,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
