About Trayd
Trayd is solving the oldest problem in America: how do we build physical infrastructure that lasts generations? We’re replacing manual processes and legacy systems with AI-native software built around how construction actually runs. Companies using our software have built some of America’s greatest infrastructure projects like the Buffalo Bills’ Highmark Stadium and JFK International Airport.
We're building the category-defining back office for trade contractors with a platform that runs live payroll, job costing, and accounting workflows every week for the hardest-working people in the country. We grew 600% over the last year with a lean team of ~30, made up of some of the sharpest and most driven talent in New York.
We were in Y Combinator’s Summer 2023 batch and have raised over $15 million from Tier 1 investors. We’re proudly and permanently based in NYC. We’re in the next phase of growth, and every hire here directly shapes what customers see next.
We are hiring a Senior Implementation Analyst to lead complex enterprise customer launches onto Trayd.
This role is designed for someone who thrives in high-stakes, ambiguous environments and can operate as both a project leader and strategic problem solver. You will work with larger, more complex customers where implementations involve multiple stakeholders, legacy systems, edge cases, and operational change.
You will own implementations end to end, serve as a trusted advisor to customers, and partner closely with product and engineering to solve problems that do not have obvious answers.
This is not a narrow project management role. It requires judgment, ownership, and the ability to navigate both technical and business complexity. You will help build the foundation for Trayd’s growth beyond Series A, with massive room for your own growth throughout the organization as we scale together.
- Lead enterprise customer implementations end to end, from kickoff through launch, first payroll, and post-launch stabilization.
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders while translating complex operational workflows into scalable solutions within Trayd.
- Manage complex data migrations, timelines, risks, and cross-functional coordination with product and engineering to ensure successful launches.
- Identify product and process gaps, improve implementation playbooks, and help scale the implementations function as Trayd grows.
- 4-7 years of experience in implementation, consulting, customer success, or operations, ideally in SaaS or technology-enabled services.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with confidence working across technical, non-technical, and senior customer audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong Excel skills; NYC-based or willing to relocate.
- You’re driven to accomplish something meaningful, operate with speed and intensity, and won’t let setbacks get in the way of achieving success.
- You’re resourceful and adaptable, finding a way forward when the path isn’t clear, learning quickly from failure, and enjoying the challenge of figuring things out.
- You’ve excelled in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and have a track record of setting high standards for yourself, whether that’s in sales, consulting, finance, athletics, startups, or somewhere else entirely.
- Prior implementations or onboarding experience, ideally with payroll, financial, ERP, or compliance-heavy software.
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments, with construction or manufacturing exposure a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools.
This is an in-person role in New York City, five days a week. We move quickly, collaborate constantly, and value people who take initiative and ownership.
If you want to work on complex, high-impact customer problems while helping build a category-defining company, you will fit here.
