Your Responsibilities:
- Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical & suppository drugs.
- Clearly identifies resident with proper medication.
- Checks and prepares each dose immediately preceding administration.
- Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, etc.
- Promptly communicate with Charge Nurse and leadership team with any changes in the resident’s condition.

- 40 hours of classroom & laboratory instruction for QMA requirements approved by Indiana State Board of Health.
- Completion of supervised 20-hour practicum in administering medication in LT care facility.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 105 hours Certified Nursing Assistant Program as approved by the Indiana State Board of Health or equivalent as approved by the Indiana State Board of Health.
- Requires having name placed on Certified Nursing Assistant Registry at time of hire as required by the Indiana State Board of Health. Must be in good standing and maintain certification throughout employment.
