OUR ROLE

At Fiskars Group, we design products that are made to last and built to improve everyday life. Our commitment to sustainability, safety, and quality is at the heart of everything we do. As a QEHS Specialist, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the well-being of our people, the quality of our products, and the impact we have on the environment. You’ll be part of a company where your work contributes to a better tomorrow — and where your voice is valued in a team that works with purpose and pride.

This position is based in Espoo, Finland and reports to the Senior Quality Manager, Natalia Torrens. The role is fixed term full-time parental leave cover and is hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT FISKARS

You’ll be joining a collaborative team responsible for ensuring our operations comply with quality, environmental, and health & safety regulations — and that our products meet the highest standards. This role will give you exposure to cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to influence process improvements across our business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining ISO-certified management systems (9001, 14001, 45001).

  • Conducting internal audits and supporting external regulatory inspections.

  • Leading root cause analyses and corrective action initiatives for quality or safety issues.

  • Ensuring compliance with product regulations and environmental standards.

  • Monitoring and reporting sustainability and safety metrics (e.g. waste, emissions, energy).

  • Preparing and updating regulatory documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Conducting risk assessments and organizing safety training.

  • Investigating incidents and implementing preventive measures.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a passionate professional who sees the bigger picture behind quality, safety, and sustainability. You bring structure, attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented mindset to every challenge — and you’re motivated by the opportunity to make a real impact in how we operate.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.

  • Strong professional experience in QEHS, regulatory compliance, or a similar field.

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

  • Confidence in working with cross-functional teams and external auditors.

  • Solid skills in documentation and stakeholder communication.

  • Familiarity with sustainability metrics and risk management practices.

  • A proactive mindset and desire to contribute to a safe, sustainable, and high-quality work environment.
