What’s the job?

We are seeking a QA and Automation Tech Lead who has grown from a strong automation background and is ready to take on a professional leadership role. This position involves managing and mentoring a QA and Automation team, working closely with Full Stack teams, and actively participating in hands-on (HO) work.

The role includes matrix management, requiring collaboration across various departments to drive cross-functional projects that align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Tech Lead, overseeing the QA team from a professional standpoint, guiding their technical development and ensuring best practices within an Agile environment.
  • Strategically plan, develop, and implement manual and automated testing processes.
  • Develop and maintain automation testing infrastructure, ensuring integration with Full Stack teams.
  • Work directly with development, product management, and technical support teams to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Create and manage test reports, documenting findings and defects.
  • Actively participate in hands-on testing and automation tasks.
  • Continuously enhance and streamline testing and automation processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation-must.
  • Extensive experience in automation and hands-on development of automated tests.
  • Experience working with Full Stack teams- advantage.
  • Deep understanding of software testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar—advantage.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with defect management and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Monday).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new concepts, environments, and technologies, while rapidly acquiring new skills.
