QA Scale and Performance Engineer
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
In the HPE Chief Technology Office, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results.
What you’ll do:

Working experience in virtualization VMware/Hyper-V/KVM
-
Hands-on Experience with Cloud Native, Microservices, Containers and Virtualization Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)

Experience in Nonfunctional Testing Performance, Scale and Reliability.

Experience in Load/Soak and Longevity Test
-
Exposure to Nonfunctional Test Tools usage and enhancements Tweaks(Iperf/Apache-Benchmark/Locust/Io-meter-meter/VdBench etc..)

Ability to manage all the nonfuctional requirement with proper benchmark data and elaborative Performance Test Specs and report

Ability to understand Prometheus and Grafana for business and engineering metrices

Experience in load/perf monitoring tool and utility

Experience with building/testing a scalable solution and performance testing.
What you need to bring:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically, 3-7 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Hands-on experience working with web technologies - HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful API, JSON, Protobuf, NoSQL DB
-
Do You have Prior Experience in Storage Domain(FC, iSCSI, Networking, NFS, SMB, VVOL, VMFS, DRAaS, )

Do you have any prior working experience in AWS or Azure or Google Cloud?

Strong understanding of generic test Performance/Non-Functional automation frameworks

Knowledge of SaaS delivery model and cloud application testing.

Basic knowledge of TCP-IP Suite of protocols (Ethernet, VLAN, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS)
