QA Salesforce Lead_ Provar Experience

 

 

Job Overview:

 

As part of Perficient, the Salesforce QA Lead is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance project life cycle. This position entails collaborating closely with project managers to gather high-level requirements, collaborating with management for estimating and resource allocation, and providing leadership and guidance to a team of QA Engineers dedicated to the project. The Salesforce Quality Assurance Lead actively engages in SCRUM ceremonies to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs, development approach, subsequently formulating a test strategy and planning that involves QA resource allocation. This person is the main point of contact for QA activities coordination between upper management, scrum master, lead developer, release engineer and business analyst. This person should be able to take decisions and push back whenever the team is full of capacity. This position requires solid communication and reporting to upper management.

 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers to elicit high-level requirements.

• Work closely with management to estimate project timelines and allocate necessary resources.

• Supervise and guide a team of QA Engineers assigned to the project.

• Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align testing efforts with business needs.

• Develop a comprehensive test strategy to ensure the highest quality of software products.

• Continuously monitor QA tickets and manage assigned QA resources effectively.

• Request, prepare, configure, and manage test data and test environment.

• Design test scenarios and develop test cases.

• Execute manual testing and collect, analyze, and communicate test results.

• Identify, report and track incidents, defects, or bugs until its resolution; perform root cause analysis as required.

• Lead triage efforts to address issues promptly and efficiently within the QA team.

• Proactively plan for potential regression testing requirements to maintain product integrity. i.e. Spring, Summer and Winter Salesforce releases.

• Monitor production environments for potential issues, and when issues arise troubleshoot side by side with the business analysts ensuring swift resolution.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts to troubleshoot system functionality and alignment with requirements.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all QA-related matters throughout the project lifecycle.

• Possess a deep understanding of the system's architecture to inform testing strategies effectively.

• Facilitate clear and regular communication with upper management, providing comprehensive reports on QA progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines.

• 5+ years of experience in QA and Testing Projects.

• 1+ years of experience in QA Lead position.

• High English written and verbal communication skills to build a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders.

• Strong analysis abilities and a high level of customer service to perform exceptional work.

• Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce architecture and functionality.

 

Required Skills

• Experience developing and executing tests in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing.

• Experience using Provar Automation tool.

• Solid skills administrating Test Management and Defect Management tools. Tools (e.g., ALM, Test Manager, Bugzilla, JIRA, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, etc.)

• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM platform. Comprehensive knowledge on (Configuration & Setup, Object Manager & Lighting App Builder, Data Management, and Workflow/Process Automations)

• Proficiency in API testing and API testing tools like Postman.

• Proficiency in Integrations with Salesforce. Being able to understand external systems that interact with in the system that finally interact with Salesforce.
