Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Release Manager to coordinate and govern software releases across multiple Agile teams within a large enterprise environment. This role serves as the central point of coordination between Development, QA, Production Support, Infrastructure, Product Owners, Scrum Teams, and Business Stakeholders to ensure successful software releases with minimal production risk.

The ideal candidate will combine technical release management expertise with excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. This position requires a strong understanding of release governance, environment management, CI/CD processes, deployment coordination, and enterprise software delivery.

This is a technical release management role—not simply project coordination.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Madisonville)
Work Arrangement: Onsite/Hybrid (Based on Business Requirements)
Employment Type: W2 – Full-Time Contract
Duration: 1 Year
Work Authorization: No Sponsorship Available (F1, H4, and Green Card candidates eligible)
Experience Required: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate enterprise software releases across multiple Agile teams

  • Develop release plans from QA through Production deployment

  • Manage release schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks

  • Coordinate deployments across multiple environments

  • Monitor environment readiness and availability

  • Ensure Release Management standards are followed

  • Partner with Development, QA, Product Owners, Infrastructure, and Production Support teams

  • Facilitate release readiness meetings

  • Track deployment issues and coordinate resolutions

  • Manage environment utilization and planning

  • Drive continuous improvement of Release Management processes

  • Support enterprise change management initiatives

  • Monitor production deployments and post-release stabilization

  • Communicate release status to leadership and stakeholders

  • Identify release risks and mitigation strategies

  • Coordinate emergency releases when required
