QA Platforms and Transformation Lead

If you answered yes to these questions, then you might be the ideal candidate for the Enterprise QA Platforms Lead role at Guardian. In this role, you will support the Head of Quality Assurance (QA) Organization in implementing a transformation of the QA function to a full platform and product digital operating model. You will also advise on strategic initiatives and drive impactful projects aimed at elevating quality assurance processes, practices, tools, and technology in alignment with Guardian IT & Business priorities.
You Will:
- Work with the Head of QA and support the QA Leader to implement a strategic transformation of the Quality Assurance Function’s operating model to a full platform and product Digital operating model.
- Ensure consistent alignment and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to enhance quality assurance functions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the implementation of Key QA platforms, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation, while supervising successes.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with key team members & IT Architecture to deliver key transformation themes and gather feedback aligning with Guardian IT & Business priorities.
- Designing solution architectures and serve as the domain expert on automation, QA tools and Test Data Management techniques. Drive improvements technology adoption & augmentation.
- Provide consultation on complex testing strategies for the organization with a specific bias to applying technology as a lever.
- Support any QA operating model change management efforts by communicating the benefits of initiatives and guiding teams through implementation.
- Work with the Head of QA to define and deliver success metrics for the transformation strategy and individual initiatives, regularly reporting on outputs and optimizing performance.
You Have:
- Consistent track record of leadership in quality assurance or customer service operations or project management preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
- Extensive experience driving organizational transformation initiatives for QA Tools & technology frameworks, performance management frameworks, stakeholder management frameworks, and process optimization strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Good balance of Strategy and execution and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Expertise in QA platforms, tools, and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
- Proficiency in automation, test data management, performance testing, and security testing techniques and best practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing solution architectures for QA, including cloud-based, microservices, and API testing solutions.
- Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc., and scripting languages, such as Shell, Groovy, etc.
- Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
- Understanding of software development life cycle, quality assurance standards, and testing methodologies
Location & Travel:
- 3 Days a week at a Guardian office in New York, NY, Bethlehem., PA or Holmdel, NJ.
Salary Range$126,970.00 - $208,600.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
