Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Manage and control the quality system in Malaysia to ensure that the activities comply with the company Quality management System, quality standard and policy. Work closely with a production team in order to ensure that they meet customer requirements and enhance the customer experience process with Avery Dennison. 

  

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

  • Quality Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement quality strategies

  • Establish quality goals and metrics, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.

  • Identify and prioritize quality improvement opportunities.

  • Development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.

  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

  • Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, and manage follow-up actions to address audit findings.

  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality criteria.

  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, quality performance and conduct regular supplier audits.

  • Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement.

  • Analyze customer satisfaction data and implement measures to enhance customer experience.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

WHAT WILL BE LOOKING IN YOU FOR :

  • 7-10 years of experience in quality management, with a minimum of 3 years in a regional or multi-site role.

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience with quality management systems and audit (e.g., ISO 9001, FSC audit).

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
