What will you be doing as a QA Manager?
As a QA Manager, you will lead both the QA team (3 FTE) and the QC team (2 FTE). Your scope of responsibility covers all processes within the company, with work agreements documented in a certified BRC management system. Through audits, work inspections, complaints, and data analysis, you will work independently and in collaboration with other departments to continuously improve and adjust processes. In this role, you are responsible for formulating and implementing the quality and product safety policies, ensuring that the organization, its processes, and products comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
You will monitor quality control and report on it to ensure the quality level is maintained and improved where necessary. Additionally, you will serve as the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding quality and product safety.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively identifying and implementing improvements in the areas of quality and product safety;

Advising management on the quality and product safety of the environment, processes, and products;

Advising on risks and implementing control measures to minimize them;

Providing training materials and instructions to promote awareness of quality and product safety;

Developing and executing the QA/QC annual plan, with adjustments based on results;

Coaching the team towards self-management.

What Are We Looking For?
-
A minimum of a higher vocational (HBO) education in quality management, food technology, or a similar field;
-
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
-
Up-to-date knowledge of quality and product safety regulations;
-
Strong communication skills, able to motivate and persuade on different levels within the organization regarding quality and product safety. Additionally, you can turn potential resistance into cooperation;

Experience in managing and coaching teams is necessary;
-
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to implement improvements;

Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
