QA MANAGER

Summary of the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Manager QA in HOSPITALITY HOTEL IT ACRS (Amadeus CRS) - End to End team for managing:

  • Assisting and leading ACRS E2E - SAFE MIGRATION: PI/SRM - PO and SM, E2E PI Planning.

  • Represent E2E in ACRS Community program and lead E2E Community Testing activities.

  • Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs effectively. Provides guidance and training to Specialists/Senior Specialists.

  • Understands how main business drivers impact their area. Can assess significant challenges, improve processes, recommend solutions, and develop risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate detailed information.

  • Works independently, based on management directions. Leads or contributes to cross-functional projects. May assist in planning resources and budget.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Ensure alignment of test strategy with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) guidelines, Green IT guidelines, and all quality guidelines (SDL, STDL), QA best practices/standards from the industry.

  • Define and maintain test strategy and oversee the test plan for the project, product, or release.

  • Develop effective communication channels between decision-makers at Amadeus and customer organizations involved in testing.

  • Support the customer during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for all testing matters.

  • Responsible for the execution of preliminary tests.

  • Analyze all testing requirements for internal business units or across business units.

  • Monitor the results of the test campaigns performed by the QA Engineers.

  • Provide the appropriate sign-off for functional, non-functional, and non-regression validations between each phase of the life cycle.

  • Provide the appropriate sign-off of releases.

  • Follow up on issues and trigger actions to ensure the sustainability of the product.

  • Responsible for monitoring the software quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) over the different testing phases.

  • Deliver regular reports to counterparts (QA Engineers, Product Definition Analysts, and Software Development Engineers) on the evolution of the quality along the testing phases.

  • Collaborate with development teams, commercial, and cross-functional test teams to prioritize requirements and streamline execution.
