Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust QA processes and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure quality alignment.
• Define and drive testing strategies for both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Proactively identify critical gaps in test coverage and quality, using dashboards and metrics to highlight key action points.
• Manage QA timelines, resource allocation, and ensure timely delivery of quality releases in a fast-paced environment.
• Make informed decisions quickly to resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Conduct regular QA team meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and quality metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis for defects, track defect trends, and work on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and improve reporting tools, ensuring transparent and actionable feedback for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 10+ years in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Knowledge of eCommerce applications and their complexities is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage QA teams, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Strong ability to make quick and effective decisions, even under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and document test results and issues.
• Proficient in manual and automation testing, with hands-on experience using testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG).
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, delivering quality under tight deadlines.
• Expertise in creating and sharing actionable QA dashboards, tracking key metrics, and identifying critical gaps and action points.

Technical Skills (Preferred):

• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
