Role Title: Senior Tester - Banking/Capital Markets
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to oversee end-to-end testing activities for large-scale banking and capital market enterprise systems.
The QA Lead will work closely with business users, developers, vendors, and governance teams while leading a team of testers across project deliveries and releases.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage QA activities across projects and releases
- Define test strategy, test plans, and overall testing approach
- Ensure full coverage across functional, integration, regression, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing
- Coordinate testing across upstream and downstream systems
- Ensure deliverables are validated, tested, and signed off before production deployment
- Monitor defects, risks, test progress, and release readiness
- Work closely with stakeholders including business, development, vendors, and governance teams
- Lead and mentor QA team members while managing testing timelines and deliverables
- Support performance, failover, and disaster recovery testing activities
- 8-12 years of working experience leading QA teams in transformative banking/capital market enterprise-scale environments
- Strong experience managing end-to-end testing across integrated systems
- Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
- Strong understanding of API, database, and backend testing
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or TestRail
- Experience with automation or performance testing tools is an advantage
- Exposure to Unix/Linux and SQL is preferred
