About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, ideally within the banking or financial services domain. In this role, you will take full ownership of the QA lifecycle—covering test planning, execution, automation, and quality governance. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the stability, reliability, and compliance of banking applications, while championing quality best practices across the project.
What You Will Be Doing
- Take end-to-end ownership of product QA across manual and automation testing activities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using a codeless automation tool
- Identify and select appropriate test scenarios for automation from existing test suites
- Maximize automation coverage for critical, high-risk banking processes and functionalities
- Execute and manage testing activities in alignment with defined QA processes and timelines
- Own and lead SIT, UAT, Regression, and Automation testing cycles
- Build, maintain, and execute a robust automated regression suite within demanding delivery schedules
- Provide accurate effort estimates and contribute to planning and release scheduling
- Promote and embed quality practices across the project, ensuring testing is understood and valued
- Support, guide, and mentor junior QA team members as needed
About You
- Required 5–6 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably within the banking or financial services domain
- Strong background in both manual and automation testing
- Experience working with codeless automation tools or willingness to quickly master them
- Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, Regression testing, and end-to-end QA processes
- Ability to prioritise high-risk areas and drive automation coverage where it matters most
- Excellent communication, documentation, and defect-reporting skills
- Proactive, organized, and able to independently manage QA activities and deliverables
- A quality advocate who enjoys guiding junior members and contributing to continuous improvement
