About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong skills in both manual and automated testing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and driving automation wherever possible. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, user-centric solutions that meet the highest standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements to design comprehensive test cases.
- Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility.
- Identify, document, and track defects using ClickUp (or other relevant tools).
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Work closely with developers to ensure test coverage and enable early detection of issues in the development cycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing strategies, processes, and documentation.
- Support release readiness by performing smoke, sanity, and regression testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide quality-focused feedback on system design, architecture, and specifications.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in manual and/or automation testing.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.
- Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar).
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve defects effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
