What would you be doing?
We’re seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to lead testing for both backend and frontend systems.
You’ll use Go for BE and JS + Cypress for FE to build scalable automation, support CI/CD processes, and champion quality across microservices and UIs.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in designing, documenting, and executing detailed test plans for complex, multi-component products.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for backend microservices and frontend components
- Build test frameworks using Go (backend) and Cypress (frontend)
- Exposure to containerized development (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS – advantage)
- Own CI test pipelines and contribute to quality gates and deployment readiness
- Investigate test failures and support root cause analysis
- Define test plans for business and edge cases
- Promote QA best practices within the team
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in QA automation
- Strong experience in Go BE test automation
- Solid Cypress UI testing experience
- Familiarity with REST API testing, contract testing, and mocking frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Docker and testing in containerized environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD, etc.
- Strong Git skills (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket)
- Excellent communication in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Grafana)
- Performance and security testing knowledge
- Exposure to Kubernetes-based environments
