Job description:
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for complex web-based applications using Selenium WebDriver on the C# .Net stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless test automation, API validation, and integration with modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain an efficient test automation framework for large-scale web applications.
- Implement and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with C# .Net.
- Develop and maintain API automation tests using RestSharp.
- Work with NUnit, XUnit, or similar testing frameworks for automated testing.
- Ensure high test coverage across .Net Framework-based applications using MS SQL Server, Dapper, or Entity Framework.
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve automation strategies.
- Manage test cases, execution, and reporting using Atlassian tool stack – Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
- Identify, report, and track defects efficiently while working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and C# .Net.
- Proven ability to build and maintain automation frameworks for large, complex web applications.
- API test automation experience using RestSharp.
- Expertise in test automation frameworks like NUnit or XUnit.
- Proficiency in .Net tech stack, including .Net Framework, MS SQL Server, Dapper, or Entity Framework.
- Experience integrating test automation into Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr) for test management.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Knowledge of security testing best practices.
- Experience with cloud-based test execution environments.
