About the Team

Bazaarvoice is seeking a QA Engineer to join our Business Applications team in Bengaluru. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance and testing strategy of our global enterprise ecosystem, supporting key applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, etc.
This role will bridge the gap between business processes and technical execution, ensuring that our internal systems for Marketing, Sales, Finance, Support, and Services are robust and reliable. You will provide technical leadership in testing methodologies, drive the adoption of automated testing, and ensure high-quality delivery across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an Agile framework.

How you’ll make an impact: 

  •  QA Strategy & Execution
    Test Methodology Leadership: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive testing strategies for complex business application integrations.
    End-to-End Testing: Lead testing efforts for cross-functional processes within applications such as Salesforce (CRM), NetSuite (ERP), and Workato (Middleware/Integration) to name a few. This includes documentation, coordination, execution, management and reporting.

  • Automation Development: Architect and maintain automated test suites to reduce manual effort and improve regression coverage.

  • SDLC Integration: Work closely with DevOps and Development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
    Domain Expertise: Validate business logic and workflows related to Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Support, Services, etc. within our SaaS platforms. 

  • Key modules include Lead to Quote, Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Support and Professional Services as part of the larger Software License Management process.

  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential bottlenecks and quality risks in the early stages of the development cycle. Continuously evaluate and improve QA workflows to enhance productivity and organizational collaboration.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and knowledge resources for both technical and non-technical users.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide expert support to end-users and conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of validated tools

 

The must have skills that matter:

  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 4+ years specifically supporting enterprise SaaS applications (Salesforce   and NetSuite experience is a must).

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in an industry similar to Bazaarvoice (software technology provider for e-commerce retailers and brands), with a deep understanding of relevant business processess.

  • SaaS Ecosystem and Global experience: Proficiency in testing Salesforce (includes modules such as CPQ, Certinia, Sales and Service Cloud), NetSuite, and Workato integrations.

  • Test Automation: knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Copado or specialized SaaS testing tools is a plus.

  • Methodologies: Strong mastery of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java for test script development.

  • Tools: Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking, Confluence for documentation and CI/CD tools.

 

General Skills

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail when troubleshooting complex system integrations.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams.
