As a Test Engineer in Kontakt.io, you will learn to analyze and assure the quality of our products. You will become familiar with developing the overall system test plan, manual testing and test automation. Your role will be to assist in developing the best test strategy to ensure that Kontakt.io products are tested thoroughly to meet quality standards. Success in this position requires a passion for high quality, problem solving approach, persistence and flexibility.

Your daily tasks:

• carry out automated tests to ensure the software created meets the requirements
• conduct analyses of software to prevent issues and fix bugs before the product is dispatched to users
• create and execute test plans for environmental testing and document test procedures for software projects of moderate and high conceptual complexity
• execute test cases and log bugs into the bug tracking system by our QA requirements
• review and design technical specs, and translate them into test cases to ensure optimal test coverage
• Perform backend testing (90% of the time) and frontend testing
• provide comprehensive QA test reports
• communicate with the team daily to share and build knowledge.

Our requirements:

• min. 2 years of professional experience in test automation
• knowledge of Python/previous experience in Python programming (pytest, API testing, requests library), Curl
• ability to work in command line interfaces like Bash
• Database experience
• good English&Polish spoken and written communication skills
• detail-oriented
• strong analytical skills
• highly motivated individual who can learn new things quickly, self-taught

Nice to have skills:

• performance tests know-how
• SQL experience
• Locust experience
• prior experience in the Electronics field and hardware testing
• understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT)
