About AscendX

AscendX is building a next-generation monetization infrastructure for mobile game and app publishers. Our customized SDKs (Android, iOS, Unity) are critical to publisher workflows and revenue. We are looking for a QA Engineer specialized in Mobile SDK testing with adtech knowledge to ensure SDK stability and reliability at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own QA process for AscendX SDKs (Android, iOS, Unity).
  • Validate SDK functionality across devices, OS versions, and integration environments.
  • Test ad request/response flows, bidding mechanics, and mediation integration.
  • Develop automation frameworks for SDK and integration testing.
  • Build regression test suites and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with SDK engineers, backend engineers, and product managers on release readiness.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in QA for mobile apps or SDKs.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile QA frameworks and automation tools (Appium, Espresso, XCTest, Unity Test Runner).
  • Solid debugging skills using network sniffers (Charles, Fiddler), adb, Xcode Instruments.
  • Understanding of client–server communication and APIs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have (can be learned on the job)
  • Experience testing SDKs (not just apps).
  • Exposure to adtech/monetization SDKs (AdMob, AppLovin, FAN, MoPub, etc.).
  • Familiarity with OpenRTB flows or programmatic advertising.
  • Experience with Unity SDK QA.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and automated regression testing at scale.
